Jessica set her goals just in time for her first trip to Thermal! Another one of our ambitious amateur 👍
“My first goal of the year was to find a barn that was going to help develop and nurture my horse’s talent – this goal was achieved when we moved to Hunter Bay. My new goal for 2016 is to move up to the 3’ and to enjoy every second of the show season with Louis and our new friends at the barn!”

Welcome to the Hunter Bay family, Jessica! We can’t wait to watch you and Louie grow together!
We are going to miss Bella and Lily! Good luck on last semester at Stanford, Bella. We know you will finish strong and have a great adventure ahead!
We’re excited to be heading down to Thermal for weeks 3/4! Horses and riders are ready for some much needed sunshine.
Spa day for the horses. Thanks for keeping the horses happy, Leslie Norton’s Equine Sports Massage!
The amateurs are back at it! Right in time for thermal.
My goals for 2016 are to be more present and focused in my riding. I want to ride Charlie in more derbies this year and will be getting Cooper back in the ring after having some time off, both will take focus and mental preparation. I’m excited to be working with a sports psychologist and hope to take my riding to the next level!

And we love it! So amazing to have such a dedicated set of riders.
“My goals for 2016 are to keep doing the children’s on DJ. I also want to start doing eq, and doing medals and I would like to move up to the 3’3 by next year! Can not wait to see what 2016 has in store!”

As a working mother with a toddler, it is always hard to make time to ride and show. However this year, with the help and support of my family and Hunter Bay, I have a focus to return to the AA ring. Of course I also plan to have lots of fun with my horse, barn mates and friends. To a great 2016!

Love seeing our armatures setting goals for the season. It’s so important to have something to ride towards!
With the start of the show season only a few weeks away, it’s important we all set goals for the year.
Ally (pictured with her new horse Mac) has the following goals for 2016:
“I want to move up to the 3’3. I’m doing more medal classes this year and want to try to qualify for the CPHA Foundation finals and other medal finals. I also want to improve my riding by staying more focused, while also being able to balance school, riding, friends and other sports.”
Great goals, Ally!
